M-ERA.NET 3 Call 2024: Results of the Joint Call

A total of 107 Czech applicants within 79 research projects participated in the M-ERA.NET 3 Call 2024, a Joint Call focused on materials research and innovation.

The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA ČR) will support eight successful Czech teams that will contribute to the following projects:

  • AH-Nano-Cat (Advanced Hybrid Nanomaterials for Efficient Photo(electro)catalytic Water Purification and Hydrogen Production)
  • BioCAN (Development of bio-based polymers with covalently adaptable networks for recyclable natural fibre reinforced composite production)
  • deSalSea (Novel Sustainable ForwardOsmosis Seawater Desalination Process)
  • EnFiCab (Environmentally Responsible and Low Fire-hazard Polymer Composites for the Cable Insulations)
  • GENSIB (Genetic Approach to Sodium-Ion batteries)
  • HYDRAGON (From Light to Energy: Synergetic Multifunctional Materials Driving Photoelectrochemical Hydrogen Generation)
  • REECovery (Circular economy through a sustainable recovery technology of critical resources (REEs) from selected waste materials)
  • SMARTPIEZO (Smart Piezoelectric Bio-based Osteochondral Construct as a Model for Drug Testing and Implant for Joint Defects)

The Call aimed to support projects in the following topics:
