The DUT Partnership Call 2025 is the fourth call under the Driving Urban Transitions Partnership and is co-funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe Partnership scheme.
The purpose of this Call is to support transnational research and/or innovation projects addressing urban challenges to help cities in their transition towards a more sustainable economy and functioning. The challenges are grouped into three themes called Transition Pathways:
- Positive Energy Districts (PED),
- the 15-minute City (15mC) and
- Circular Urban Economies (CUE).
Each Transition Pathway is divided into three call topics, Czech applicants will be able to participate in following topics:
Positive Energy Districts (PED)
- Ensuring positive socio-economic impact: PEDs in local economies and energy markets
- PEDs in urban heating and cooling strategies
15-Minute City (15mC)
- Next steps for multimodal urban mobility, building on the travel experience
- Mobility policymaking in context of radical contestation
Each proposal must involve, at least, three partners from three countries of this list and eligible for funding by their respective national/regional Funding Agency. The added value of transnational collaboration should be clearly stated. The Call is open to a wide range of scientific disciplines and welcomes interdisciplinary approaches. It intends to support a large range of activities, from research to innovation and implementation. It also asks to engage explicitly stakeholders (companies, public authorities, NGOs…) in the projects and to consider users’ needs in the identification of the project goals.
The rules of this call for Czech applicants are based on the “SIGMA” programme. The total amount of TA CR support per call for Czech applicants in international projects is 700 000 EUR. The maximum funding per project (for the Czech part of the project) will be 170 000 EUR. The maximum intensity of support for the Czech side of the project is 80% of the total eligible costs of the project.
