News in project proposal submission via SISTA

The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR) will announce the 3rd Call for Proposals of the TRANSPORT 2030 Programme on March 5, 2025. As we have mentioned last year and at the beginning of this year, all public calls for proposals and national calls (including future international ones) will be announced only in SISTA, which is subject to new requirements related to the submission of a project proposal. Without meeting these requirements, it will not be possible to create or submit a project proposal, nor to receive TA CR funding. Since these are technical requirements that are available to everyone, they do not limit any applicants. If you plan to participate in the calls for proposals and calls of TA CR, please pay attention to the following sections where we describe the individual innovations.

What is new in SISTA compared to submitting a project proposal via ISTA?

1. Only registered organizations can apply for funding

The organization must complete the registration process and appoint one or more administrators responsible for managing the organization’s data effectively. These administrators will also have the authority to approve the addition of new project participants. Without registering the organization, it is impossible to create and submit a project proposal, and therefore, the organization cannot receive funding from TA CR.

-> How to register an organization? Read here.

2. The person who will submit the project proposal on behalf of the organization (first create and then submit the project proposal) must be connected to the organization and confirmed by the organization administrator

In order to create a project proposal and then submit it, the person in charge of this task must:

  • be registered in SISTA, firstly
  • connect to the organization and arrange with the organization administrator to add them to the organization team

-> How to connect with an already registered organization? Read here.

3. Only a person who has gone through the identification process through identification means (NIA ID, Bank ID, etc.) can connect to the organization

Without verifying your identity using identification means (NIA ID, Bank ID, etc.), you will not be able to submit a project proposal.

4. The organization whose authorized person create the project proposal remains the main applicant

In SISTA, it will not be possible to change the role of the main applicant. The organization (or person) authorized to create the project will be registered as the main applicant without the possibility of transferring this role to someone else.

5. The project manager or project contributor can add other people to the project proposal who will participate in the administration of the project (= Project Administrators)

Project administrators can hold the following roles:

  • project manager = the person who created the project proposal; can edit it, submit it and, if necessary, can also withdraw it, automatically has the role of contributor and viewer of the project
  • project contributor = can fill in the project proposal
  • project viewer = has the project proposal for reading only, cannot interfere with the project proposal

These people can be added by the project manager (= person who established the project proposal) or the project contributor. People can only be added in the format in which they are registered in SISTA. It is necessary to know the exact name, surname and email and tto respect uppercase and lowercase letters, diacritics, etc.

6. Additional project partners are added by the project manager or project contributor

An additional project partner refers to another organization that will collaborate with you on the project. Additional project partners can be added by the project manager (= the person who created the project proposal) or the project contributor. The addition of other partners must subsequently be approved by the administrator of the organization being added to the project proposal.

We believe that despite the above news, your project submission will proceed smoothly. If you have any questions, we are always available at the TA ČR helpdesk.

We will regularly inform you about further developments.
