In September 2025, the international QuantERA III Call 2025 will be launched to support research in quantum technologies.

- Applied Quantum Science (Applied Research)
TA ČR will only support Czech applicants involved in projects focused on applied research (in the thematic area of Applied Quantum Science). Czech research organizations and private companies are eligible to apply for TA ČR funding. The total expected TA ČR allocation for the call will be EUR 1 000 000. Czech applicants involved in basic research projects (in the thematic area of Quantum Phenomena and Resources) can apply through the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS).
We are currently preparing the rules for Czech applicants, which will be based on the SIGMA funding programme.
Project proposals must be submitted by international project consortia consisting of at least three eligible independent partners applying for funding from at least three of the following countries*:
Belgium (FNRS, FWO), Bulgaria (BNSF), Czech Republic (MEYS, TA CR), Estonia (ETAg), Finland (AKA), France (ANR), Croatia (HRZZ), Italy (MUR), Ireland (TÉ-RI), Israel (IIA), South Korea (NRF), Latvia (LZP), Lithuania (LMT), Luxembourg (FNR), Germany (DFG, BMBF), Netherlands (Quantum Delta NL), Norway (RCN), Hungary (NKFIH), Malta (MEYR), Poland (NCBR, NCN), Austria (FFG, FWF), Romania (UEFISCDI), Slovakia (SAS), Slovenia (MIZS), Spain (AEI), Sweden (VR), Switzerland (SNFS), Turkey (TÜBİTAK), UK (UKRI EPSRC).
